JAileen, I hope it's perfect! How awesome to have your dream item come on sale. I didn't think I had one, but now I'm beginning to think the basic things like a black casual straight skirt and black shorts are really hard to come by. At least, in a style and fit I like.
So many beautiful choices and wishes! I want to find a leather jacket - no, make that two. A minimal black moto ( I loved your choice, Adelfa) and a short, fitted one in cognac.
The perfect leather jacket (as documented earlier today).
My problem is that I get a new shopping obsession every few days (in addition to the jacket), this month. I know it's just a phase, and I know why I've been so hooked on shopping (avoiding stressful work), but the internet is dangerous for people like me who love to methodically find all possible biker jackets (or whatever) in all possible stores.
I have been keeping an eye out for several seasons for my perfect trench and have had zero success.
The requirements: -Cool, almost grey beige; Black accents are a plus -Double Breasted -Wider Lapel to balance my shoulders -Belted -Fit-and-Flare shape, but no pleats -Some detail at the back yoke (seams or a button) -Perfect fit, of course!
well, this week I'm in love with this jpeg of a wool cashmere blend jacket in this exact colorway and size check. Love the color of the zippers against it, too. Since it's well over 500 dollars, it's not happening.

Since I began obsessing about capsule wardrobes, my closet has been a mess. True I-can't-this-sock-pair type of mess. So ATM my dream wardrobe item is... an organized wardrobe.
I returned my dream jacket to Nordstrom yesterday. It was beautiful - the leather was soft and supple, a beautiful dark pewter color, with lovely and interesting quilting. However, I looked like a stuffed sausage in it. Not a good look!
There are so many things... Top of the list would be: flat-heeled, knee-length boots, warm enough for winter. And comfortable. And fitting my wide-ish feet and calves, and shorter legs. This may take some time ^_^
I spend half my time in the South and the other half in Massachusetts, and I'm limiting myself to one suitcase each time. This causes some interesting issues when it comes to clothing, especially bulky stuff like coats.
