I haven’t posted a photo before but am a long time lurker. I bought cropped flares , I am only 5 “ 1”. and have them turned up to the length I think is ok. What do you think of the length? I have always worn skinny jeans so these are a new departure for me and I am not really sure if they suit someone so short.

Angie says two inches above the ankle bone. I think you are close. Maybe a smidge more? 1/2 inch? I quite like the colour and style of your crops. The colour is a good bookend for your hair. Looks good with the tucked in black T as well. Welcome to WIW posting, pirouette!

I'm not great with length but agree with Carla ... A touch shorter and I think you've got it. And nice to meet you!

Welcome! I think you wear them just fine, and height is not an issue at all. I'm a fan of cropped flares and like these. How is the fit around the waist, hips, and thighs for you? (They look like they might be a bit big, but it's hard for me to tell.)

Thank you all for your lovely replies. It’s actually very scary posting a picture and it’s lovely to feel so welcome.
I did try the size smaller but it was tight on the waist. These are very comfortable even though a bit loose. I wear a European size 8.

Can't see your photos, but I LOVE a cropped flare jean and wish I had a pair right now . Mine were several years old and hit the donate bin earlier this year.

The pants look great at that length. They are a really nice color and look perfect with the black top and accessories.

Of course you can wear cropped flares!! I'm only 5' tall and they are my hands down, absolute favorite jean style to wear.

The pair you're wearing look more like a relaxed straight leg than a flare to me. That's good too! I really like the tan/khaki with black.

Angie suggests 2 to 4 inches above the ankle bone. I think you need to go a pinch shorter than what you're showing.

welcome! the 1st photo is always the hardest.....
great pants...i'm not a PPL expert, so take what i say with a grain of salt. i like them as is, but think another 1/2 or so would be even better

Ah - my bad. I think of another silhouette altogether when I think of cropped flares. Cropped flares to me are fitted through the hip and thigh and are flared (in a small way) at the bottom . Yours look like wide leg crops to me

Hi pirouette what a pretty forum name! I love ballet. Never did it but both my girls did right up to end of high school. I am short too ( have half an inch on you!) and have not tried these kind of pants yet. But they look cute on you. Will be interested to see the slightly more short version.

Lisap you are right they are not cropped flares I just don’t know the difference between all the various styles. Sorry for getting your hopes up.

Jenni thanks for compliment on my name. I did ballet and Irish dancing as a child but have two left feet so gave them up when my mother let me!!
Glad there are a few people my height on the forum it’s always nice to see how people of the same size adapt to the new trends. I think I am around the same age as you too I am 57. I live in Dublin and I noticed in one of your posts you had an Irish tweed jacket you bought in Ireland.
