A simple outfit for running errands on a chilly Arizona day.
-J Crew striped turtleneck
-Anthropologie cropped denim
-Marine Layer quilted bomber
-Ecco booties
Wore this with a small black crossbody bag. Any feedback or suggestions for improvement are very welcome.

So, are the jeans from Anthro a version of the Colettes?

Also, I am chucking at what you get to wear on a chilly Arizona day. Even from my relatively warm Canadian perch, that is the kind of jacket we save for, well, basically, indoor wear.

Yes, Suz, these are the Colettes. Our temperatures today are in the low 60s Fahrenheit, but very sunny. That’s downright cold for us and I would have been more comfortable with a warmer jacket.

I lived in Arizona for five years so I know what the winters are like and it can get cold. Your outfit looks perfect and I love the way the jacket and booties match.

It's a beautiful combination of creams with your hair. The denim is the perfect colour for the outfit.

Love the whites of jacket and booties. We had new snow tonight and some is coming down now , I am wearing velvet pants under a wool dress and another under layer of a long sleeved rash guard on top. I am still standing in front of our fireplace to warm up more. It is snowing outside. Birds are busy at the feeders. One time they’re 9 magpies and 13 turtle doves and many finches and other small birds. Flickers are also big birds who are regular visitors but magpies are the largest. Flocks of bush tits are the smallest. They come twice a day for suet. Today the Downey woodpecker tolerated them eating with him. Usually he scares them away.

Joy, I was not quite warm enough in this, to be honest. A thermal layer under the turtleneck probably would have been ideal. Our weather is beautiful, but tricky, and requires strategic layering. If the sun is shining it can feel quite warm, even in cooler temperatures. But with no sun it’s chilly. Anyway, this bomber is not very warm and would be good for true spring weather, in my opinion.

Lucky our winters in Australia have been warm enough that it's been a while since I really had to rug up in cold weather gear.

While inside I'm comfy enough wearing a cotton T-shirt with a knit poloneck ( turtleneck ) layered under another sweater and then a jacket or coat when I go outside.
