Stopped in a legitimate farm supply store in central Washington. On the way to visit Dad
Of course the most expensive fit best & I like. They’re Corral and surprisingly comfortable
Another customer recommended Ariat, for high insteps
But also wondering if this just a passing fancy for me

Ooh, sweet boots! I love the turquoise inlay. So pretty and unique. Ariats are my most comfortable boot—they have Nike technology. Mine are pointy snip toes so they’re not as versatile as my Frye’s so I only wear them with boot cuts. Did you get them?

Found some Ariat’s in my size. Not muc cheaper. And honestly feel a bit rougher on the inside

Wow - the turquoise ones are really beautiful . I don’t really understand cowboy boots as they aren’t really a Canadian thing outside of Alberta , but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate nice ones when I see them. I suspect you might find yourself wearing them a lot and will find them useful .

I like the turquoise-accented ones best too. I could see these working for you with your shorts and even dresses or short skirts — perfect with your awesome legs.

I’m biased because I’ve liked them since long before my YLF days, and hope to wear mine more when bootcuts are trending a bit more. I used to wear them with dresses in cooler weather, maybe I’ll try that again someday!

Turquoise! I love cowboy boots. I bought a pair when I was working in Alberta in the 70s. Loved them. I have a pair of Fryes but they are not as decorative.

Those turquoise inlay boots are knockouts!! Annagybe, I could see you wearing them with dresses too since summer weather in Seattle rarely becomes so oppressive that boots would be a "no go."

Though honestly I don’t go out as much as I used too. So yeah the gorgeous, but no point in getting them if they’re going to collect dust :/

I own two pair of Ariat cowboy boots and find them very versatile. They are water resistant so I wear them on yucky rainy days in the winter. I took one pair when we visited the Netherlands one November and they ended up being the only shoes I wore during that trip. I am in the camp of "Cowboy boots go with everything" so I wear them all year long with dresses, jeans, and even dress pants to work.

I'm a huge ariat fan - but I think the boots you picked are super pretty. My cowboy boots are the r toe, but unlike the new ones which are almond toe, mine are pointy toe with only the sole being snipped. So the basic black is very elegant on the foot. My boots must be 15 yo, and other than a repair after I kicked up the leather on the toe (my bad) they still look great and (other than my neuroma, not their fault) they are divinely comfortable. Cowboy boot s are a classic IMHO, well as are all things equestrain!!, so big yay from me. Very pretty boots with the turquoise, if the colors work with your wardrobe, and supremely useful. You can count on cowboy boots to always come through in an oufit!

I'll be blunt. You need to get them. No question. The thing about having a good pair of cowboy boots--beyond the fact that they are a core part of our Eastern Washington origin story--is that they are the ultimate Inland Northwest classic. They can gather dust for five or ten years and never be the worse for it. Then, the moment you want to go to a punk show or just add some texture to an outfit, they are there waiting for you. Given your love for Pendleton, I cannot believe you don't already own a pair. Mine, in case you are wondering, are pointy-toed black ones with red and white inserts. I've had them for over 25 years. They aren't working boots, they are fun boots. I have absolutely never regretted buying them. You need a pair too.

A great classic and the turquoise inlay is beautiful. A good heel height too, you should be able to walk for miles in these.

If you love them, you should get them. I have several pairs of western boots. I personally like the R toe best, but also have snip toes which are super pointy. A couple years ago we were out birding in a rural area, on a ranch. I saw people wearing the square toe that you’re considering.

I actually love cowboy boots, but my arch is so high I have always had a hard time getting my foot in. The just will not go into a boot.

These are gorgeous Anna, if you think you will a good amount of wear from them , you must get.

I vote for the turquoise. gorgeous. Cowboy boots are not a passing fancy. You might cycle in and out of them but they are boots that you keep forever. When nothing else works, often the cowboy boots will.
