Thanks for the outfit love! I guess playing dress up really never gets old!
@Cee and Rachy: Haha! So apropos--carpentry is in my blood!
@Notsaf: Thank you. I’ve really only worn them as an adult--after discovering YLF.
@Laura: Thanks! Yes, the sweater is Leith--the cocoon style. It was a work horse last fall/winter. Super cozy and surprisingly warm.
@Kkards: Isn’t that funny? I call it marinating. Some things require it more than others. Glad I’m not the only one that does this. Thanks!
@nemosmom: Thank you! It’s a fun color and I would like to get something in that color (besides my high vis work stuff) at some point.
@torontogirl: Thank you. I think it’s the bull dog in me. I don’t like to give up--haha!
@unfrumped and Robin: Thanks!
@Aqua: Thanks. Glad to provide some inspiration. I hope you can get yours into rotation too. They’re too cool to let sit in the closet!
@ChristelJ and Juniper: Thank you! I’m not adept at re-mixing but I’m hoping to get better.
@sara, christina and fathenry: Thank you!
@sterling: haha. Cee always makes me laugh!
@Angie: Thank you! You have a deal!
@Karen: Thank you. That is the ultimate compliment! Your soft brown hair suits your complexion and I think you wear the soft earth tones beautifully!
@Jenn: Thank you. You have an astute eye with my very purposeful underlayer peeking out from beneath the sweater. It’s my secret weapon to break up my sweater and jean combination--it makes it look less conservative and preppy, don’t you think?
@lisa: Thank you! The long cardigan over the dress is my default work look. It’s so easy and modest. Perfect when I’m not feeling jeans. Totally agreeing with your fitted sweater assessment. I feel the same way--in fact the only reason I tried it was because it was an Angie pick. I normally steer away from anything ribbed. It generally makes me feel like my arms are in a sausage casing.
@AJ, Katerina and suntiger: Thank you!
@Kathie: Thank you. Glad that you found a better sweater! Haha--I have no plans on giving up on the weights either.
