Finally presenting my Barbie outfit.
Like every woman, I thought: "I have no pink! I will have to buy something." Then a quick survey of my closet told me otherwise.
I just put together what I had. That's a cotton J Crew sweatshirt with a dress belt tied in a Colonel Sanders style necktie--pastel floral. A simple cotton Chicos white collared shirt. Not pictured is a pink pastel tie dye hair scrunchie.
Eyelet chambray shorts, the only tights I had on hand--sheer black. Pink 80s slouch socks (yes, they still make them.) Then not pictured--gray and hot pink New Balance-type sneakers. With the sneakers, I felt like 80s Career Barbie--I well remember my mother and others running to the bus stop in their tights and sneakers, then switching to heels at the office.
