So I pulled the trigger on the teal combat boots and I've been having fun coming up with outfits from all the ideas you shared so generously on my last post!
Here are a couple of casual iterations: one with my favourite hazelnut/grey reversible Vince coat (I know it's very boxy, but the shape is what I love about it) and another with my rust Rag & Bone coat and hand knit thrifted fair isle cardigan. I always struggle to make the cardigan less 'grandma' and I think the boots offer the perfect counterpoint.
Next up: a dressy version with my newly thrifted Thom Browne Couture sweater ($8.99, from last season's $1,200+!) Paired with a st. Michael's vintage wool midi pleated check shirt, made in the UK. I've found some wonderful, beautifully made wool and cashmere skirts lately in aqua, hazelnut and check, and I can't wait till I can actually wear them out again!
