Colorful Cascading Cardis?

I would like to add a couple more cascading cardigans to my closet this fall/winter, but I am all neutraled (is that even a real word?) out, and it seems like most of the time when I find this style of cardigan it comes in grey and black, with the occasional foray into a wild and crazy color like . . . burgundy.

Has anyone spotted this style of cardigan in more colorful options? I'd love any suggestions you have.

I have the Kirsch cardigan Inge linked to from Nordstrom and I'm crazy about it (I'm actually wearing it right now). I love how it drapes and the little pleat detail at the front. It is also wrinkle resistant and washes well. The spiced rose color is gorgeous. Mine is black but I'm so impressed by this little cardi that the spiced rose will probably find it's way into my closet.

This color palette really is depressing. Walking into H&M is like walking into a sink of dirty dish water lately. I don't get it. I fully understand needing a break from all the brights that have been trending, but there are lots of pretty muted colors that could be trending instead of the thirty three shades of death that are on display. combined with the dark and cool hues like burgundy and navy, it's just such a sad and gloomy color landscape.

Also, if you can check a Nordstroms store, or maybe The Rack ,for an earlier season Bobeau cascading cardi that was really marked down, is more streamlined than the NAS version, and comes in a zillion colors. I bought one in a pretty blue and wish I'd picked up more colors. It went on my trip and never wrinkled. Mine was marked down to $29 in July. I don't think it's on the Nordies web site.
Edit: Found it! Your store may have more colors on the sale rack. There were shades of green, purple, orange, pinks, gold, blue, turquoise, etc. as well as neutrals. Highly recommend this piece.

Thanks, ladies! I knew that you would have some good suggestions! Looks like I'll just have to go online at Nordstrom and fill up my shopping bag.

Question for Maya (Kische cardigan) and Anne (tiered flyaway): How is the arm fit on these two cardigans? Do you find them fairly TTS or on the tight side. I normally wear a medium at Loft, BR, Ann Taylor, etc, but this year I've found several sweaters at those stores that I've had to size up, because the arms were just ridiculously tight.

I'm a size medium (was trying on mediums at the Loft last night if that helps), also, and the sleeves on the tiered flyaway are plenty roomy. I think you would be fine ordering a medium in the Bobeau cardigan.

Okay, just placed an order for the Kirsche cardigan in a couple of colors, the Bobeau tiered cardigan in a couple colors, and the Sweet Pea ruffle cardigan. I have high hopes that a couple of these will strike my fancy and I'll be able to knock this off my fall wish list!

Sorry to just miss your Q about arm fit (if needed, maybe you can change the size?).

I have the Kische as well and IMO the arm fit is tight...it's a very lyrca feel. The fabric *is* very stretchy, though.

The Bobeau was a lot looser, as well as bigger in the shoulders. In addition to the tiered, I tried the one below in the gorgeous sky blue -- not sure if the color is too summery and/or unflattering for you!

I have skinny arms so keep that in mind, but the XS was definitely snug while the small was fitted (without being tight). I am usually smack in the middle of an XS and S. I prefer a more fitted sleeve in this style though, since it's so drapey and voluminous.

Thanks for the extra input, Maya and Vix. I definitely don't mind if the sleeve is fitted, I just hate pulling on a sweater that otherwise fits well, but the arms are so tight it feels like I'm wearing my wetsuit! I ordered a medium in that one, so I'll just have to wait and see how it works. Fingers crossed . . .

Don't know if your loot has arrived yet, but wanted to give you a not-so-happy update on the Kische I had so you would have potential extra info when deciding.

Note the past tense...it was pilling so heavily after 3 wears that I returned it. I do have other rayon cardigans, so I know the material pills, but come on! To be fair the others I have are a bit more textured (like some of the Bobeau); that seems to hide the piling better than the smoooooth fabric of the Kische.

Too bad for me since the cardigan filled a gap, but I wear my stuff often and it needs to be able to go for at least a season (preferably more....).
