Suz has had recently a post with her awesome blue/white colour blocked outfit. Here is mine, worn for work today.
I was on the hunt for a dressier citron item for sooo long(esp after seeing this color shining on Angie so many times). I also had once a sleeveless linen top which I have worn on holidays about 10 years ago(think in Venice,or so). But it was too casual and then I didn't like it was sleeveless, so finally tossed it.
Now, it's my turn again:-)
Especially as it was a bargain, 30%off, and a coupon-so my new citron, tailored, short sleeved cotton blazer was almost a gift:-)
I just couldn't leave it on the rack.
Paired it with all whites...
...and corals????...
OMG...Houston! We may have a problem...:-)-had we lost that neutral girl somewhere by the way and on our own fault....(???)
I tried it with some tan wedges and a white/greyish bag first..
But-you just have to believe me- it was doing nothing for this particular outfit.
I think coral makes a great contrast and pop.
The top is also new. More than a simple tank, or tee. Bottom part is cotton, but it's upper part is quite transparent, chiffon I think. And, both materials have a very subtle shimmer. I cannot decide if it's gold or silver, really it's so subtle as not noticeable only if scrutining it from close and a good light.
Maybe that's my secret, only and nobody sees it.
But I know it's there, and makes me smile(you know, like other Lyn's dancing bears:-)).
Oh, and see? The jacket matches my specs, too:-)
ETA: I feel so confident in this outfit, that I absolve you from the hard duty of commenting and suggesting anything more than applause me....
