Here is how I wore my EF trousers during a cool snap--a not-work occasion. Kind of trying high-low, pastel, slight oversized and cropped all in one top.

I found a hi-low sweater at Marshall's to try as a gateway item. It is acrylic, not great quality and has a silvery sparkly bit of pattern printed on the front which makes it not work-wearable. Might be too "junior", IYKWIM. So, in some ways maybe should have saved even the modest price for the real deal. But, I wanted to try something like this out. A lot of high-low's are too big for me and too long and droopy in back. If I could find something similar--I could go a bit longer, too--in a neutral and a better knit I would grab it, to wear with other bottoms--trousers and pencil skirts. But I have not, so far, found what I want.

I wore wedge pumps in a bluish-gray color faux tiny reptile pattern. Also a kind of try-out --these are only 4-hour shoes for me, need to be an inch or half-inch lower or maybe just overall more comfortable, as I found after actually wearing them. But they have been versatile as date-night shoes if not doing a lot of walking. Function surprisingly as a neutral.

Ideas on proportions and improvements? Especially for a future sweater for fall or winter, though perhaps fashion will have moved on by then.
