Here's my Christmas OOTD- for an attempt at going to church in 27 degree weather.

A friend is an AME minister, so we went to his church, but when we got there, there was only 1 other car in the lot besides my friend's. Doors were locked, and then I saw a ton of water leaking from the side of the building :/ Long story short, the service ended up being by conference call again.

So, we brought mom over to our house to listen to the service and meet Luna Then we went to her apartment and hung out for a few hours.

New this year stuff- Kitten the cozy gloves, the wide leg pants (yes, again), velvet top, purse (was from mom's stash).
Boots, hat, earrings, and Warm furry coat are older things.

How lovely to find a kitten in your stocking! Love those reds, burgundys, purples. How unfortunate for the church though. That sounds like a very, very expensive repair for the new year.

Yes Kitten He's actually a TNR baby found near mom's place. DH and I saw the sign about him- and here we are! We're probably getting his brother too, but he needed more socialization.

I feel bad for my friend- I'm sure the repair will be a lot, especially since it happened on Christmas He said he was up since 3am dealing with it.

Pretty. I'd of navy and burgundy both of which will not show black cat hair...much. We are also having a very cold low key Christmas. Wearing a patterned Icelandic sweater dress that zips up and festive jewelry. Sheer blackish stockings, a wine red apron and pink suede slippers complete the outfit. Hair is in a loose bun. it must be warming up some because squirrels are back but still lots of snow, wind and cold.

Don’t know AME, but I believe TNR stands for Trap-Neuter-Return.

AME is African Methodist Episcopal, they're pretty common in the US. They're a Black Christian denomination, but welcoming to anyone that likes a high energy sort of worship. There's lots of music and dancing in the service, and have a really positive message.

TNR is Trap Neuter Release (or maybe it is Return) to reduce the stray cat numbers. The adult cats are usually to feral to try to adopt out, but the kittens can be socialized and homed.

Thanks! The purse was one that mom would take to the Kennedy Center, but she normally uses much bigger bags. I have a Kate Spade clutch too for dressier use, but it's really too small to hold much.

Those earrings are heavy, so I don't wear them as much as I'd like- but they're fun!
