Seasons greetings! I hope everyone is enjoying a happy and relaxing holiday break.
A few outfits from the hot Southern Hemisphere.
Outfit 1 (pre Christmas lunch with girlfriends): Portmans floral skirt with (older) Metalicus top and bling. The top is hip length but I semi tucked it at the back and let it fold up loosely at the front. I thought this worked pretty well to shorten it without doing a full tuck. I took my Ombre scarf too because it was a cooler, breezy day.
Outfit 2 (Christmas day BBQ lunch at home): blinged up denim - Summer version. It was a warm day (high 20s) but not too hot. The top is from Uniqlo. I like the fabric (cotton) and basic style so much I bought it in both blue (shown here) and black.
Outfit 3 (post Christmas BBQ dinner at home with friends): simple silk shirt dress from Sportscraft. This is a couple of years old now but a good FFBO for hot weather. I would like this in other colours also. I teamed this with faux leather necklace and bracelet.
Bonus pics: Ms B on Christmas Day in her special occasion collar (made by my DH). Pink cubic zirconia. It sparkles in the sunshine but the camera doesn't pick that up. It is her holiday bling And also having a refreshing dip in her "pool". It's what all the stylish dogs are doing to keep cool this Summer.
