Got out late afternoon on Saturday with the intention of looking at the cherry blossoms from the car. There was a lot of traffic doing just that, and very little foot traffic/plenty of social distance room so we decided to take a walk around the Tidal Basin.
It was the height of bloom for the white blossoms and just before the opening of the pink ones, and it was just spectacular. As you can see, it was cold and gloomy and truly felt desolate. Yet there was Nature, showing off her finery anyway. It was a gift to be able take this peaceful walk in so much glory at such a weird and heavy time.

We visited Mr Jefferson, and the FDR Memorial which is always my favorite, and it is the most gorgeous spot to see the blossoms I think.

I was excited to put on something besides sweats, and my Blondo boots were perfect For the puddles and mud we walked through. I have enjoyed this BR sweater this season.

Still in my yoga gear since 6 am....
