Hi all, our entire country goes into lockdown in a little over 24 hours. I will not, because a family doctor is an “essential service”, but will be trying to do as many consultations remotely as possible, because the family doctors in Italy warned that the waiting rooms can be a reservoir of spreading the virus, so we are trying to space any necessary in-person consultations out so patients don’t overlap.
I felt a cheery outfit would be nice for the second-to-last day before it. My fave cafe next door had its last day today so I bought a “melting moment” biscuit ( cookie) for the end of lunch, to celebrate. Last one for at least a month. I will miss their small club sandwiches that I usually supplement my home lunch of fruit and yoghurt with.
