So my big news is that after MUCH searching (and soul-searching, too), I will soon be starting in a new job.  It's in my field, is MUCH closer to home, and is at a large e-commerce firm that I'm very excited to work at.  It's a long-term contract position to start, but very high possibility of converting to an internal role (and also, greater ability to market myself for an internal role at that company, or at other large corporations.)

I'm very excited!

Here is my last interview outfit that I wore (a second round interview at a casual firm.) A little wrinkled as I photographed this at the end of the busy day.  Burgundy pencil skirt, gray checked blazer from skirt suit, pink and citron printed shell on navy blue background, nude micro-net hose, burgundy patent pumps, beaded necklace on bronze chain.  At work I swapped out the blazer for a navy boyfriend cardigan.

Also a quick rat update: Boo and Blinkin are growing up, and looking so very different from my baby rats that I brought home a couple months ago!  Blinkin looks much larger than her sister - she has a blunt, blocky face and a much more solid body.  Boo has a squishier body and a more delicate, narrow face.  As you can see from the photos below, they are still (always) very close pals.
