This is not a typical week for me.Its half term school holiday for the children in Wales this week and as such the DD is with us all week.
Today was her 16th birthday so after a lie in(an essential part of a teenagers day) and a late brunch we went for a walk down on the coast to enjoy this unseasonably mild weather.
We took birthday cake with us and a flask to enjoy a cup of tea with the view.Of course I wore gear,walking trousers,walking boots,long sleeved top and light weight fleece.Nothing particularly stylish but me because they were comfortable,practical and allowed me to enjoy the activities without worrying about my clothes.
This evening after a quick shower and a fast turn around we went out to a restaurant of the DD s choice for a family celebration .Despite the glorious weather it can be a bit nippy once the suns gone down so I wore a jumper with my skirt to avoid having to take a topper.
This outfit is me because it involves boots,a jumper, my purple hair,urban green nails and I could fling it together in a very short time to go out quickly with out to much fuss and it was extremely comfortable.l m done with suffering for a look at my age!l will leave that to the 16 year olds.
