Challenge: at-home outfit - YouLookFab Forum

Responding to Sal's at-home outfit challenge. I have been too lazy to take photos of recent outfits, though lately I've been deliberately choosing things I really enjoy wearing. Today's outfit is a bit of a departure from my usual jeans+tee+cardi or soft jacket. I find I'm kind of liking an un-tucked blouse style lately. I just finished making this one, and I really like it.

The outfit: Off-white Mom jeans (Levi's, Wedgie Icon); mixed Liberty print and seersucker stripe blouse in greens and blues (made by me, from Sewing Workshop Venice Shirt pattern); off-white leather high-top sneakers (Paul Green).

What a beautiful, fresh, summer look! It makes me feel cooler just looking at it. Liberty prints are always gorgeous, and this one especially so. Looks great with those fab sneaks!

Lisa, thank you, and yes, it is a different direction for me. I think this is a bit of a shadow style for me. I usually don't like collared blouses, but I figured out the trick, which is to get the collar to fit right. Maybe with pandemic hair and no or minimal lipstick, I'm leaning toward a little more polish in other parts of my look these days.

Xtabay, thanks for the Liberty print love. It does feel summery to me. I tried on the blouse with cropped flares and sandals and really liked the look. But today I needed more warmth. I'm sitting on the sofa under a down throw at the moment!
