I always enjoy the YLF challenges and so the idea of a colour challenge is wonderful - thank you Katerina for providing the challenge and also the inspiration with your cobalt outfit.

For the Australian Spring and Summer, I bought a new skirt in mint which is from a local shop called Flannel. The photo does not do justice to this skirt which has beautiful tonal embroidery on the bottom layer of the skirt, smocking on the waist band and a beaded tassel. I noticed that Zara did one of their basic sweaters in the same colour and bought it to wear with this skirt (which also has a matching summer blouse, also in Finds). This is a new colour in my wardrobe for this season which I think will be a firm favourite because it feels so cool and light to wear and yet with the matching sweater, goes into cooler temps as well. Worn with loafers.

In a departure from the true monochrome theme, worn with my iridescent bag (which is my closest colour match) and pearl necklace. This is a combination I have been planning to wear, but normally I would wear my white boots instead of the loafers.
