The last few weeks have been crazy so I haven't been super active around the forum lately, but I've been managing to snap a few photos at least. I've also been coming to terms that my summer style is inherently preppier than my winter style. Mostly due to my choice of natural fabrics and more wovens in my wardrobe to handle the heat. Any one else have feel this way in the summer?

All comments and suggestions welcome!

1) Worn on a particularly cool (for summer) day. This shirt doesn't come out often but it great for transitional weather.
EF top, Gap jeans, Report shoes

2) Worn out to happy hour. This dress was a recent purchase that I'm hoping will transition well into fall with leggings and boots.
Everlane dress, Miz Mooz sandals

3) Work outfit. I felt very northeast preppy in this, like I should be visiting Cape Cod, which isn't my style goal at all but was nice in the heat.
Loft top and crops, Coach shoes

4) Another slightly preppy work outfit. I keep trying to make this skirt work because I like the print, but dresses are much easier for me because I'm short-waisted. How are the proportions here?
Gap tee, Loft skirt, Coach shoes, Kate Spade necklace

5) Worn to a casual networking event after work.
Zara top, Gap jeans, Seychelles sandals

6) Seasonally confused. It was a little cooler but instead of grabbing a topper, or even a shirt with sleeves, I went with this oversized scarf. But I did like this outfit.
Everlane too, Aritzia pants, Softspots shoes
