Catching up on the WIW's plus Shoptoberfest report

I had such an amazing time at the Shoptoberfest meetup last weekend that I have been totally exhausted ever since. I've been taking photos but literally haven't had the energy to post! LOL

1-4. 10/12: Shoptoberfest, Day 1. J Crew striped top, 7 For All Mankind jeans courtesy of CocoLion from the last YLF swap, Seychelles nude shooties, Michael Kors tote, pendant from a local boutique. I liked this outfit and it was comfy for the drive and Shoptoberfest Opening Ceremonies potluck. Bonus paparazzi shot of arriving Shptoberfesters, and potluck fun!

5-10. Shoptoberfest, Day 2. GAP sexy boyfreidn jeans, gingham shirt from Target boys' department, Sperry pewter boat shoes, same bag, studded belt from Streets ahead. First we went to the swap meet and shopped and tested, then to TWO malls for shopping, lunch, and dinner!

11-18. Shoptoberfest, Day 3. Didn't get a photo of my whole outfit, so here it is in pieces, with special guests! White Kut from the Kloth skinnies, vintage gingham shirt, same bag with Franco Sarto nude sandals. This day wen went to South Coast Plaza and had a grand old time taking bag shots in the BR dressing room, goofing off in front of the LV window, lunch at Nordstrom, and being jacket quadruplets at H&M!

I have to tell you, this was the best, best, BEST weekend ever! Everybody is so. much. fun. and so smart, so kind, so lovely. If you EVER get a chance to meet up with your YLF sisters, take my word for it and jump at the chance!!

That was THE Shoptoberfest, sooooo.... It took you about 4 days to recover. That's my kind of weekend. LOL. I am still very sad I missed it but I'm hopeful this becomes a yearly event. As a matter of fact, I decided not to claim the insurance on my airplane ticket, too much work plus I used points, so I have a valid ticket for So Cal for a full year!!!! I really hope next year's Shoptoberfest happens at around the same time. If not, I promise a visit before the ticket expires.

Sadly, It was the right decision. We ended up going back to the doctor that Saturday morning. little Zap is good now but that was the flu from hell.

I enjoy you casual outfits a great deal and yes, We would have matched for day 1.

i am loving the "fabulosity" of miss Matrix & company on picture #2 , Look at that friggin' Missoni luggage HA! Pictures 7,8 and 18 are a hoot. You all looked pretty and well dressed, all weekend long!!!! Yey for Shoptoberfesters.

These are so much fun - I am having serious withdrawal from laughing and shopping with all of you! Though I have to say I too had the post-Shoptoberfest lethargy and have been exhausted since the weekend.

I do have to say, these spontaneous photos only confirm my lack of photogenic-ness! WHAT the devil is going on with my boobs in that picture in front of the LV display? It's like they are trying to escape the polka dots! That jacket in #7 was fab, but now that Rae is at the Rack, she will find something even better (and splinter-free).

Zap, I am so sorry you didn't make it - you would have had a blast. I am glad little Zap is better and it sounds like you made the best choice to stay with her.

Oh, that was a fun weekend, one of the best.

It was fantastic to meet up with everyone and it was nonstop fun, excitement and friendship.

I like Pic 4...I call it the Deranged Pic (though some of you manage not to look possessed).

Wheeee! These are wonderful pictures - love love love. Makes me want to do it all over again. The paparazzi shot is fantastic... and YES your white jeans and leather peplum outfit must be featured on date night "verra verra soon" (I think we all picked up a little Maryspeak over that weekend)!
