For some real life casual wear while shopping my closet, here’s what I wore this week when not in total loungewear at home. I’ve been nursing several sick rats and running to the vet and hand-feeding our eldest through her final illness (she passed away on my lap today.)

1-2: Olive hoodie (super soft), cropped dark jeans, black denim jacket, gold booties
3-4: Striped tee tucked into jogger sweatpants with super old flats
5-6: Black ponte pants, black suede booties, forest green tee, black leather moto vest, millefiori necklace
7-9: Ankle length resin jeans, pewter booties, olive zipper-detail sweatshirt
(10 is the same outfit a year ago)

So sorry about your sweet pet, Kari. Love all of these outfits and always love olive green on you. I’m fighting a cold, so today was work from home. I wanted to be comfy but pretty so turned to my olive Universal Standard olive ponte pants and a pink cardigan and a cozy ivory, black and burgundy striped scarf that I never seemed to have added to finds.

Thank you so much. It was a hard loss but a very gentle passing for a very old rat. She was the oldest rat I’ve ever known (Lolly.)
We aren’t out of the woods with Pongo - his cancerous tumor has already returned 2 weeks post-surgery - so we will likely be making some tough decisions soon.

Thank you. I love those shades of green a lot, and they make me feel fab in a casual outfit when very casual wear usually isn’t my thing.

I am sorry about your rats, even if I haven't completely gotten used to the idea of rats as pets, which is my own weakness no doubt. Regardless, your outfits are so inspiring! Love the color/texture/proportion play and how you switch things up.

Also that we got to spend nearly 3 years with her - this week will be the anniversary we adopted Lolly and Izzy as 13 week old babies! That may sound short but for rats 3+ years old is incredible.
