Lately if I’m going out somewhere casual and fun this has been my go-to. Moto jackets have been part of my wardrobe for a long time but they are REALLY a staple this year. I feel somehow smarter, sharper, authoritative, stronger with a leather/pleather Moto jacket topper.
The uniform is:
Dark graphic tee, usually this Harry Potter Hogwarts crest tee
Layered underneath, a dark black or forest green top
A Moto jacket: Black, forest green, olive, burgundy (or one of my mixed-fabric open pleather jackets)
Black or dark grey skinny jeans
Black or burgundy suede booties
Curly hair and statement specs, bright red lip
Crossbody bag in statement color (cobalt, rose gold)
It’s simple, but it’s more casual and pretty-tough, I guess, than my usual fare. Also very fun to unleash some geekery since graphic tees are NOT something I wear often outside of visiting a theme park! (Occasionally I’ll wear my time turner necklace too, but leave the wand at home.)
