Confession: I have 2 gold skirts.

I have the gold skirt I wore to the wedding. It is light and silky for warmer weather. And I have a gold denim skirt. It is a heavier fabrication - coated cotton. And more casual looking. Like jeans. I plan to wear the denim skirt in cooler weather with boots, jumper and a jacket or coat if needed.

The weather here is cooling and I saw an early opportunity to wear the denim skirt. It’s also been wet lately, so it’s time to get out the boots. Yay

I wore it to my mum’s place for lunch. It’s a simple outfit inspired by Angie’s leather skirt outfit (my skirt is not leather but has a similar vibe). And it’s how I usually wear my metallic items: dressed down. The phone camera makes the skirt look shinier than it is. In reality it’s a dull gold. (It was actually labelled antique bronze.)

At my mum’s place we had lunch and watched a movie. Then I walked home in the wet with Siena. The skirt (being denim) is rugged enough to handle that.
