Can I wear this moto?

WIW to a Sunday evening concert. I don’t wear this leather moto very often because it feels too much like my hair if that makes sense. Edge on top of edge feels like overkill. I think this outfit is ok- especially the bright touches- but the moto and the scarf kinda make me feel like an extra in a film about European university students circa 1995....

Maybe I need to limit the moto to outfits without jeans? Wear it with a dress once the weather warms up? That feels seasonally confused- the leather is thick and warm. Hmmmm....needs an outfit lab.

I like this too and the sparkly boots and bright bag tone the jacket down nicely. Motos are fun with dresses, so as the weather warms up wearing this with skirts and dresses will be a great alternative, I think you need to have a play in your closet.

Yes! It is such a great moto. I like the outfit a lot. The details like the bag and boots make it playful and interesting, and a little sweet too. I like your ideas of wearing it with non jeans trousers and dresses, definitely an outfit creating session.

Really the boots take the show here - the moto is almost a background player. Anyway, the outfit as a whole looks great and the moto would also work great with dresses as suggested.

This is great outfit. Bright touches makes it less tough and more interesting. You need to try it with dresses to see if it feels too heavy or not.

I love it and think it works brilliantly on you. Of course I would wear it in a heartbeat but can only wish for hair as cool as yours. I say wear and enjoy!

Not all dresses are thin and summery by a long shot, and I doubt you'd want anything as warm as leather- especially in black, for summer.

It looks great! The pink/ red lip and bag and cozy soften it. I think it’s a very appropriate outfit for a concert.

I used to wear my hair like that, so I know what you mean - especially since I'm not very curvy. Too much hard edge on hard edge. BUT you added in some soft and girly - red lippie, heeled booties, dangly earrings, cuddly scarf, and red bag. It creates a good balance.

This was my Tomboy phase 6 to 8 years ago.

Oh Angie, thanks for sharing all those pictures! Modern tomboy, indeed.

Glad you all see where I’m coming from, but the moto still seems to look ok (or even to blend in, as they are so common these days). The quality and fit are good so I’d like to wear it more.

Viva, big hair is so fun! I felt sorta bad that my tall hair might be blocking the view of people behind me at the concert, but hubs assured me I am so short it makes no difference.
