It’s been raining here forever, mustn’t complain though. Some poor people in our area have been flooded, twice in one week .We are thankful to live on a hill.
All the same going slightly stir crazy so took advantage of a window in the weather to go and look a the T-Rex down in Cardiff bay

#3 -me and the DD cowering beneath his mighty roar!

His tail, head and little front arms moved! What were those tiny little arms used for I wonder? And of course as any good amateur palaeontologist knows T-rex probably didn’t roar but it gave all the kiddies a good fright!
l wore my red Barbour puffer ,wide leg gap jeans and new black block heeled boots from jones the boot maker, very comfy but no good at all for running away from dinosaurs.
#1-the cakes required to restore blood sugars after dinosaur hunting

Then,in the evening, going out for a family celebration.

#2- and #4 -first time I have worn this dress.Bought it two years ago for a wedding but didn’t wear it as a freak heatwave meant it was too hot to wear. Was contemplating getting rid of it as have never worn it but I wondered if I could make it work for more casual events

l was prompted by Angie’ s trend posts (dots ,waist belts and pearls) and Synne ‘s post about things in your wardrobe you have never worn.

The dress is from phase eight, belt is Boden, boots from joules,Denim jacket is a charity shop find.
What do you think?

I think it worked ok but as much as I enjoy dressing up ,coming home, getting into your pyjamas and eating a piece of Celebration cake #5 ,is hard to beat!
I hope the weather is being kind to you wherever you are.
