I have been very happy wearing some fall items I purchased in late summer; these brown wit and wisdom trousers and so lovely and comfy and my favorite shade of brown. The Donald Pliner boots do not disappoint. I LOVE their slightly dressy but also slightly western style. I also purchased this leather blazer from Quince when the faux leather one I wanted at NAS was sold out. This one is likely higher quality and only a little more spendy than the NAS one was on sale. I sized up so I could layer sweaters under it.

In addition I've got a Rebecca Taylor red wool sweater from last year, a new-to-me Mansur Gavriel red suede tote from The Real Real, and a generic red turtleneck sweater off amazon I got last year.

I'm really into my reds and browns this year, so I was delighted to see that I'm not alone (no wonder I'm finding so much stuff I love in brown! I prefer a cooler, darker brown which is normally very rare).

I also got a pair of amazing Vince clog-like booties in white from the Rack. They have a dark brown wooden sole and I adore them. They are also amazingly comfy and fit me like a glove! White boots were on my Fall wish list so I was very happy with my sale find.

I have focused on bottoms because I have loads of sweaters, but I did just order a couple of uniqlo sweaters. One in wine (to go with red, natch) and a cardigan in yellow. Soft yellow with tan and red is another color story I have a crush on at the moment but haven't' quite worn yet.

I've also traded my bowl cut for a mullet! I really enjoy trying out new styles. For now I've decided that longer hair isn't for me. Of course I reserve the right to change my mind. I make a semi-major hair adjustment every 6 to 12 months. Good thing my hair grows thick and fast. I am considering growing out my natural color and greys/silvers (I have very cool-tone ashy dark brown hair with white and silver getting more dominate by the day, I'm sure!). I'm also planning to get at least one more ear piecing as soon as I can make it up to my piercing place. I'm going to try for a tragus piercing. I'm also considering adding a forward helix (or, if my tragus is too small I'll get that instead).
