I have a large diamonte style brooch that my mother wore on the waist of her dress at my wedding in 1987, I will have to get it out and see how I can style it.

I would if I still owned it, Style Fan!! I gave it as a gift to my stepdaughter who also adores these colours...if she is tired of it maybe I can rescue it for you. It will never be out of style.

Good question, Angie. NOT on my Vince dress after Lisa's comment about it snagging.

Lisa, it's partly the light (totally dark and flash on when I took those photos). My hair was probably marginally darker, though -- it gets really light in summer. I might have had some toner put on at that time to try to temper the bleached out look. Now I just go with it, ha!

Yes , NO brooch on the Vince dress. And be careful about bracelets and your watch . I still like the dark tones of the clothes in the pic- regardless of lighting
