I got a new handbag from a small local leather goods maker. It’s a bit of a lemming. It has a geometric pattern that I was attracted to because it is reminiscent of the Bao Bao bags that are sported here so fabulously by Bijou and Janet. Thanks for the inspiration guys
The bag is a bronze metallic. I’m very attracted to all the muted metallics: bronze, pewter, antique gold, aged copper. They have a nice whiff of antiquity about them. I like age and patina in metallics.
The bag inspired me to try a bronze pattern mix.
The skirt (Sass & Bide) is one of the few good things to come out of 2020. It’s one of my favourites.
The top is an older item from H&M. It’s not exactly ancient, but it’s getting there for fast fashion. Probably 5 or 6 years old.
To keep with the theme, I wore my “gold patina” Swarovski cocktail ring (from Etsy).
And, if you think this outfit does not look very summery, you’d be right! It’s been mostly cool and wet here. Long live boots!
