I debuted my new bronze Hispanitas lace-ups yesterday at work. My husband says the laces are like chocolate box ribbons.
2 compliments from women on the shoes. Interestingly both women said “Those would go with anything!” I guess I don’t really think of it like that? I wish to wear them with bronze or brown or orange? I have other shoes and boots for other colours?

I guess it depends on what you consider a neutral - dark brown is now my main dark neutral, so I wear it with everything from green to bright yellow. But others will only wear it with fellow browns (like taupe or camel) or blues (like denim). I suspect bronze is similar in this way?

Either way, this look is great on you You pull off all the different colours & textures well!

As far as trying them with ‘other’ colours, you could swap them for your regular pair and see how you feel about it. Sometimes I find a new combination this way.

They’re Your shoes, you can wear them with as few or many outfits as you like, and have favorite combinations.
In addition to earth tone combos, are a great color to try out with some beautiful contrasts like blues.

Those are great shoes, Jenni. I think you could wear them with many colours if you want to. I like merwoman's suggestion to swap them into an outfit in place of the shoe you would instinctively reach for just to see what happens. If you like it, great. If not, then off they go and proceed as originally planned.

However you wear them enjoy! They are so lovely.

Your bronze is my navy ... it theoretically "can" go with everything, but if it feels wrong to you, then that's your answer!

I find metallics really helpful because they do go with so many things. If you have some bronze jewelry or a bag with bronze trim they will make a great complement.

Oh, those are so wonderful on you, Jenni -- glad you got them! I also love Mr. Jenni's description of the laces.

I think they look wonderful with what you are wearing but I could also see them working really well with dark blues, black, and some greens. I had bronze shoes when my hair was dark blonde and I loved them with navy.

They are very cool. I think they could go with pretty much anything but as you say you have other shoes. Don't be like me and wear only one shoe all winter.

Those are very cute! I’ve gotten away from bronze tones since they have all but disappeared from retail here, but they are a nice complement to blues as well. I like the palette you have going on here!
