Hi all.
I’ve been having some health issues and taking a break from YLF so I can focus on getting better. I have done a little lurking and commenting. I’m afraid I couldn’t keep up with NAS (sorry!)
Anyhow, some of you might remember I was looking for a pearl encrusted velvet handbag with gold hardware. Baroque style. Here:

I ended up asking an Etsy seller to make me one. It is a hand embroidered (zardozi) velvet bag made in India. It’s small but not ridiculously so (it fits my wallet, phone, lipstick). It’s a gorgeous, unique little thing.
Also thought I’d show my DIY bronze boots. They are brown boots (around 5 years old) that have seen better days. I restored them with some Tarrago bronze shoe cream (a product forum member Vix recommended). They came up pretty well. I’ll probably get a couple more years wear out of them now. Plus they are unique like the bag!
I teamed these with a bronze metallic jumper. Metallic and lurex knits seem to be trending here. Also wearing a dark red velvet burnout skirt for more texture.
I did the double belt thing again but this time experimented with wearing the buckles close together and slouching the top over so that only the buckles show.
The top is more sparkly than it looks in the photo.
