OK, so I wasn't feeling cool. So I added the shades. Heck, it works for Jonesy and Bella! Well, a girl's gotta try! I've added a close-up of the pendant, which I'm struggling to find pairings for (jewelry orphan). Does it work, even in a casual setting like this one? Off to run errands......at least I'm not invisble!

K/R: I found this top at Kohl's (Apt 9) and loved the print. I comes with a mustand background which is way cooler, but not so good for my mustard-colored complexion! Anyway, if this were a soft blouse styling in the same fabric, I'd swoon, but it's got a real boho style, and I'm afraid of looking like a bubble! I think it would be worn a lot as summer transitions into fall -- certainly with bootcuts and heels. Shall I keep, or shall I pass? It's not expensive, but is is worthy? (BTW -- the green pants in #8 are not going to survive my purge -- too short, with crotch crinkles (ugh), but I'm showing the semi-tuck.)

You look relaxed & funky in fire britches & T the pendant goes perfectly with what you have on. I'm not in love with the print top. The colours are pretty and I think it looks best in the half tuck. Can't quite put my finger on it but the shape isn't quite right & I think you look better in the larger pattern on your T.

I like the pendant with the fire britches. The great thing about jewelry orphans is that they don't take much space so you can not worry about wearing them so much right? I purged my jewelry big time but still have "orphans" I am not parting with yet. Teh ed is good for adding a pop of color anywhere - especially on black or grey.

Something about the blouse is not working for me - I like the color combination but it doesn't have the pizazz I think you deserve and rock often.

Beth Ann, but you do look so cool! And yes, that orphan has found its perfect pairing in those pants. (I've got a lot of orphan accessories too, thanks for the reminder!) It would look great with grey, too, wouldn't it? Or something navy?

I like the print of the blouse and it looks very nice belted or under a jacket, thus adding structure, but I think I'd have preferred to see it skim your curves a little better OR paired with slimmer pants when you wear it with pants. It's good for pencil skirt debombing, though, certainly! If you're trying for volume on volume of course, that can be balanced with a little waistcoat or a nice long pendant to anchor and add a sharp V line. In conclusion: I'd say it's about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Love the outfit in 1-2. I like the print in the blouse but if it is to be belted I think a sweater or jacket as a topper would be nice. I also like the idea of it unbelted but with a cropped sweater or jacket over it. The color is really nice!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I've pulled up some other "soft blouses" already in my closet for comparison. Hmmmmm.........

I love the new blouse and think you should keep it! Personally, I find the shape flattering sans the belt. Nice red britches outfit too

As for the second batch of blouses, they are all 10's apart from #3 - which might look better when styled with a skirt.

I love your 1st look. The blouse is very pretty and I like it best in 3 and 8. It's got your feminine style and a nice soft pattern which is different from the others posted (#2 being my personal favorite). Different enough I say to keep.
