Thank you Peri. I can understand why you have hems done. Sewing machines are expensive....at least the ones that actually get the job done. Sewing a hem on bulky jeans, faux fur, etc. requires a quality machine. That's why I don't have a new one. Mine is 31 years old! Replacing my nice old machine at today's prices would cost around $2200. You can pay to have lots of hemming done for that amount!!!
