Sveta, if they come in a close size, you might want to try anyway. Because here is the thing -- they are generously sized. For sure. I took the smaller of my two sizes in both with room for a thicker sock to spare.
Elizabeth -- you spoke truly. Maybe not 9 months, but pretty darned close.
Eliza, these 3 inch heels do not feel anywhere near like 3 inches. There is an inner (invisible) platform so they feel like 2.5 inches...which just happens to be my ideal heel. (Well....between 2 and 2.5). The slope is extraordinary -- for my foot, at least -- it was stunningly well designed.
I did try on quite a few in different styles at the store. The footbed of every one was comfortable for me. But the shafts fit differently and not all worked. Some were too tall; some were too wide. Some were both too tall AND too wide. These two hit the sweet spot. I also found a lovely taupe pair with a more rounded toe that worked in terms of fit, but I liked the slight point of the grey toes better.
