Unfortunately Angie and Greg will be missing the first day There is currently one snow storm coming in from the west, and another storm approaching from the south, and they are both colliding here. It has been snowing non-stop for 14 hours now and shows no signs of letting up. I couldn't even get to work today, so a flight across the country definitely is not happening.

Silly Fashion Week. They should know Angie and Greg can't make it and postpone the whole thing!

Angie and Greg, I am eagerly anticipating your recap of Fashion Week! I am so sorry you have to miss a day due to the weather but hopefully the rest of the week will go smoothly. Stay warm and make sure to show off your beautiful Valentino bag! I am sure Rosie and Jasmine are thrilled for you and will wait patiently for your return. I would babysit them if I could.

Oh yes, wishing easy travel. It appears most of the shows must go on as scheduled. That's tough too for the designers who have worked so hard.

Thank you, ladies! Hugs to Julie for starting the thread. Hugs to Marianna for offering to babysit our girls, (Sandy did too by the way!) They are at Doggyhaven at the moment while we ride out the bad weather on the East Coast at home.

Maya is right. I would have started my own bon voyage email, but our flight to NYC this afternoon was canceled. Soooooo, we are scheduled to leave tomorrow morning, which means flying into JFK at 4pm. I *hope* with all my heart that we get to NYC tomorrow. Your positive vibes are most welcome!

Angie, if you're arriving at 4:00 I think you'll be okay. It's supposedly going to let up sometime tomorrow morning. Considering there is roughly a foot and a half on the ground already, I can't imagine what it is going to look like when I get up tomorrow...

It is very pretty, I must say.

I'm probably on YLF too much as it is anyway, but I'll probably be here all day today :p

Holy Moly, I've just seen our news here and it was showing footage of the amount of snow you guys are dealing with - well considering I live where we rarely even get a light frost, it was amazing...

Safe travels! I don't think the storm pummeled NY as much as expected but my perspective may be jaded as I've been housebound due to 2 back to back storms where I live since Friday. Your flight should be fine today. Fingers crossed!
