YEA!! So glad your flight is getting off the ground. I heard from a good friend of mine in NJ this morning and he said the snowfall was pretty intense but that all's well now. Angie, now you have reasons to trot out your most fabulous boots! Have a safe flight, a wonderful week and amazing time with Maya (and possibly Debora)! I'm jealous of you guys too!
Well, for what it's worth, I am usually pretty lonely out here! There are YLF hubs in Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Austin, California...but not so much here Most of us live in the 'burbs which makes it harder to have regular meetups.
Marianna, you should have stayed here! I would have had a shopping buddy!
Angie, I'm sorry I'm missing you this time but I'll hopefully catch you on another trip. I'll be moving later this year but I'll actually be CLOSER to NYC!
Have a wonderful trip & can't wait to hear the details!
In a cab on the way to hotel! Your good spirits surround us. Glad my tweets are coming through. A quick fresh up and onto get our press pass before the registration office closes. I'm typing from my phone so excuse the typos!
Thank you! We saw ms. Baby phat with her bodyguards a little while ago while fetching our passes. Lots of very groovy dressed blokes!!! And a sea of black like you cannot believe. This week is going to be lots of fun!
I am sooo excited. Not a pressing question as I won't be in NY until later this month but is there any part of Fashion Week that is open to the public?
Good question. You need a press pass to get into the tents and further passes to get invited to the shows. But there is a lot of fun to be observed just outside the tents which is open to the public.
