Bombshell dress finally makes its debut

DH and I attended a (black tie optional) charity fundraiser tonight, so I finally broke out my Nicole Miller ruched dress, aka my "bombshell/knockout" dress. With my blue suede pumps and fun earrings, I felt elegantly eclectic and perfectly dressed. Thanks, YLF!

That's your "knockout" dress isn't it Nancylee? It's perfect on you! You have a smashing figure, and you need to show it off every now and then. I think black tie optional is the perfect occasion! I love your accessories too--blue suede pumps, very luxe. Your earrings just light up your face. I hope you had a wonderful time.

You ladies are all too kind. *blushing* It was a fun evening, and I did feel great in this dress. It has stretch, so it was very comfortable. And, thanks to the stretch and the ruching, I could actually eat! (haha)

Claire, you have a better memory than I do. It is indeed my "knockout" (not bombshell) dress. I had forgotten the name of my own dress!

Suz, good luck with your NM dress. Can't wait to see it. I don't know if you remember, but this dress was a little too long in the bodice (a common issue for me with NM dresses) so I had it altered. I don't suspect that will be a problem for you...but if it is, just know that it can be fixed.

Diana, I'm getting older....and increasingly out of touch with actors/pop culture...so I don't know Kim Raver, but thanks for the compliment.

Angie, thanks for the good wishes for DH. Still dealing with some lingering health issues (and more surgery ahead), but we are also moving forward with regular life as much as possible. I trust that all will be well in the end.
