I just thumbed through the latest Free People catalog, and between that and all of the "music festival fashion" features I'm seeing lately, it's pretty clear boho is alive and well.
I will stick to including it in my style in small doses.
The whole Coachella festival thing really brings Boho alive. All music festivals do for that matter. I have seen Boho style being called Festival Style, it might sound more relevant to young people.
Anyway there should be some great street style coming from Coachella this year. You can watch the shows on You Tube.
I think one of my belts and maybe a necklace or two might be slightly "boho" but that probably is about the max. my wardrobe can handle. I think it looks lovely on many others and do enjoy looking at the things from Free People as Janet mentioned.

I just saw that term yesterday, "Festival Style," for the first time. I find it odd, probably because I'm so old. A festival is a different animal to me from Coachella.
Although I have only a few items that could be called "boho" (ha ha I just corrected the mistake I made - I typed "hoho" - yeah, I dress like Santy Claus) - I love the boho style!
I haven't shopped at UB in 10 years but maybe I will take a look then! Free People and Anthro are just too pricey for me. But I suspect the vibe will be just too young.
Oh, someone said boho was dead? My Persnickety Bohemian/Boho Luxe side never got the message.
Most of my SP/SU clothing budget is going to more classic work wear, but if boho is trending and there's cool stuff that works for those with a few miles on 'em I may be in the same boat as Sarah....
Modern Fashion is about every style person. And Boho is one of them. I am about as bohemian as Karl Lagerfeld, but enjoy dressing my bohemian clients, and love seeing boho pulled together to perfection on this forum.
I can't wait to say to my Mom, "It's not Boho, it's FESTIVAL" ....lol!
I don't really have "boho" as an aspirational style, but at the same time, little pieces end up in there somehow. A necklace, belt or the occasional blouse. My Mom will say, "That's very boho-looking".
He he, I would have also thought the pictures were from Anthropologie and not Nordstrom! I do not have a huge boho streak, but I end up with a couple of pieces here and there, mainly because I love 70's style with super flared jeans which look a bit boho and pair best with boho tops.

I think people wanted to look like they were at Woodstock s started dressing boho at festivals. They dont look exactly Woodstock because they add modern touches like booties etc. Where I live people dress like that all year round but people come to our festivals dressed like that & it feels odd to me, like they just dress like the at the festival. There are booths selling boho & hippy stuff so if you don't get the memo & feel out of place you can buy something. I don't mean to say. That people can't dress for the occasion if it isn't usually their style. I think it's betterif they feel comfortable in it though. If it is one of their go to styles. I have different styles based on location & events but they are all me. There are a lot of styles that fit an event or location that I'm at but they don't fit me ski don't wear them.

The "Festival Style" is probably a broader term than Boho, although Boho is part of the look. I think the bright colors of the Rave scene, as well as the freaky psychedelic tribal looks seen at places like Burning Man also play into the whole Festival Look.
Oh dear....I don't think I've worn a boho item EVER. Soooooo not my style. But I do enjoy it on others when done right.
Is boho just a reinvention of "hippie"? My Mom was all over that style in the late 60's and 70's - she wore big dangly earrings, peasant skirts, multi coloured caftans...
