As I did a post on ordering the Boden sweaters, I thought I had better provide an update once they arrive.

These are BEAUTIFUL sweaters.

I can see with the weight and quality, these will be a good addition to my wardrobe. They are a good weight for my climate, because they are not too warm or heavy.

A definite yes to great quality (although wearing is always the test for the dreaded pilling effect). I was wearing these grey jeans, so popped them on with those and also tried one of the cashmere tops tucked into a skirt, something that I like to wear to work.

Cashmere sweater 1 - the hot pink colour is vibrant and gorgeous. I knew that as long as this fit, it would be a keeper simply because the colour is so good. Photo 1.

Cashmere sweater 2 - burgundy colour and not something that I have in my wardrobe, but I thought it would be a nice alternative to black and navy, particularly when we move into Autumn. However, if you don't like this colour on me, then please let me know. Personally I think it is just flattering enough and versatile enough that I will get wear from it.

Worn with jeans photo 3 (I do think my pale blue denims would look better - but I was wearing these). Also tried it with my apricot tweed skirt (photo 4), I do need to add my strand of pearls to add some lightness to my face - it would be interesting to see if you think this works - I like how the sweater can be tucked into a skirt and works well both tucked and untucked.

Striped sweater with jeans - I really love this, as it is fun and the sleeves etc are beautiful.

For the Australians, I am an Aus size 8 (US size 4) normally and bought these in size small.

All comments and suggestions most welcome, especially if you don't like them because Boden is great about allowing returns.
