Great news! I keep meaning to try lots of stuff from them but long shipping times and inability to try in a store first keep me back. Really hope my local store and/or online will have Boden, too.

Lucky you. You can try all the stuff. I'm between sizes or the sleeves are to long or the fabric itches. And ordering and sending back is not free in the Netherlands. But the few things that worked I love.

That’s great and a good idea for Nordstroms.
If I were in charge at Nordstroms I would get away from J Crew, Madewell, Free People, Eileen Fisher and other brands that have brick and mortar stores in the area.
Boden seems to fit the Nordstrom ethos - well made, classic but not too classic and they won’t get burned by their generous return policy carrying.

Ladies, quick chime in from my phone. If you live in the US - Boden shipping is free! I don’t understand the hesitation. If you live elsewhere - I get it.

Tanya, try their stuff ASAP.

Christina, did you know Boden was available at Nordies before this post? I didn’t.

Actually, Boden ships faster than Nordies unless the item is on back order.

Exciting! I just acquired my first Boden pieces (two older dresses via Poshmark and eBay) and I am totally on board. They both look and feel lovely on.

@kelly I would say Boden favors a rectangle as well but maybe slightly curvier than JCrew. I only really know their dresses but I do size up for shoulders most times and tailor down waist almost always, sometimes hips too. I'm an hourglass with a strong shoulder (think Tanya but larger).

Christina, YES. Nordies has stocked Boden kids for years. Good point.

Liz A (and for Kelly), I don't think Boden favours the apple or rectangle body type like J.Crew does. (J.Crew can be too straight for me, and I am not curvy). Point is, my SIL who lives in London LOVES Boden and wears a US16. She is VERY curvy up top, with a large bust. Inge and Jenn are curvy - and do well with Boden. Curvy forum members like Jane do really well with Boden too. So do my inverted triangle clients - AND slighter people like me. It's thanks to great fits and fabrics.

In the past Nordies has carried Miniboden - for kids. I'm excited that they're not carrying for adults!

So lucky!! I hope it comes to Nordies Canada. I started loving Boden this past year when I bought my daughter some things (8 yo). Items are adorable and well made and we size up to get some extra longevity.

As a result, I’ve bought three tees for myself - 2 short and one 3/4 sleeve - they came yesterday and are great. I have 2 pairs of pj pants from 3 years ago that are still in great nick.

Yes I noticed the paper bag waist pants just today by luck. Would be MUCH more likely to try things via Nordstrom and if I got a handle on fits then eoukd be braver to order directly from Boden for items not at Nordies.

Just checked the website and they have a small selection of items.....no petites at the moment. Perhaps there will be more later. For those of us in Canada with a Nordstrom we can return in store for free.
