Blog Archive idea: Forum Favourites

I had an idea for the new "Blog Archive" section that I wanted to float by you ladies, and in fact wouldn't work without you.
You can see that the new archives feature the old wonderfully-handy categories as well as a couple of other sections like "most popular posts" and "Angie's Favourites." How about a section called "Forum Favourites," by which I mean posts that newcomers to YLF might find helpful to read as they start exploring the site? In my mind, these are the posts that we as regulars keep referencing when getting people started. Some examples include:
Perfect Pant Lengths
Wardrobe Capsules for your Lifestyle
All the different body type posts
How to wear tops with skirts
The post on how to choose the right specs

Do you guys think a section like that would be useful? And if so, what would you want to see in it?

I think it's a great idea. It would be so helpful to get at all of those useful posts really quickly and easily. Funny how the PPL one comes at the top!!!

There are loads - will try to have a look through again and pick my favourites - it's great as it's easier to identify them on the new site.

Michelle, this sounds like a great idea. MaryK, I must have missed tyhe "nipple tunic" thread. A search did nopt bring it up.. I'm intrigued because I've been having to go out w/o bra and the challenge is to construct outfits to hide the nipples

Kristen: yeah, I was thinking of blog posts...did you suggest threads too? If so the comment didn't post. What blog entries would you like to see?
If we were including threads Maya's "bra-fitting thread" would be compulsory! But I think it would have to stay limited to blog posts for the sake of the archives.

I deleted my original comment when I realized my mistake, Michelle.

Of the blog posts, I would love to see all the business casual posts get linked into an group of favorites. Plus, I would just love to see more of those.
