This jacket was so easy... I thought. It is actually not that simple to style. With jeans and skinnies it is alright. But I have to be careful with tops which are a bit wide or shoes which are too classic. Before I know what is happening, it is a dowdy jacket. Strange but true.

The striped jacket, depending on how worn does seem to span the worlds of both frump and style:) For this reason, I have donated one striped jacket but have kept another, that sadly is somewhat orphaned I love this combination on you. It's modern, with a touch of trend and truly flatters you.

Have you tried rolling up the sleeves of your striped jacket? I always wear mine with sleeves rolled and it seems like a fresher look somehow.

I was gifted a striped jacket but passed it on. If I had mile long legs like you I would have hung on to it. You look sensational.
( I think those pumps would defrump a chenille dressing gown.)

Mary, thanks for the tip. I am wearing most of my jackets like that now. Angie explained once as well how that bit of skin changed proportions.
Asingh: the bag is a Lonchamps (French brand). Bought it in Spring this year.

I agree with MaryK. Try rolling the sleeves up. I like the lemon drop with the black and white. I am not sure about the faded jeans with the outfit. How about white jeans? You always look so nice.

Vickie: I am not sure about white jeans, but I am not very good at styling.
I do agree that the faded jeans were not the best choice, which is why I am wearing darker jeans in the first photo (where I am sitting on the chair). So you suggest lighter and I went darker haha.
