I really love black and brown and it's an easy combo for me . I have terrible lighting for photos so these are really overexposed. The selfie in the car shows actual colour (had to crop out my face because have you ever seen a pic of yourself in day light ??? Holy crap, not a good look.) I was on the fence about these boots as they look kind of fake and shiny and synthetic (they aren't) , but they are beautifully constructed , warm, and comfortable even with the heel. I've had them for about a month and this was their first outing - they will work well as a winter (not fall or indoor) boot. It seems to have gone from lovely fall to bitter cold here overnight, and I could have used a scarf. Now I need a taupe-ish or brown scarf to wear with this coat - lol.
