You look beautiful in this combo. I know you said you were worried about getting it casual enough, since you tend to dress up. I think this is perfect. It is one of those great outfits that is so well put together and interesting that it works great for a range of dressiness levels. That blue jacket and the green purse are such great finishing touches, they really put the final cherry on top! Lovely.
BTW, great blog post! I was particularly taken that you said you were grateful for your husband's dear friend. It reminds me of something I have thought before about my husband's friends. Most guys don't form friendships the way that women do. It is a joy to see them able to enjoy and rely on the bonds of those friendships, isn't it?
