I got a kick out of both of these outfits this week because the patterns seemed to represent a clash of nature. Both times, I chose to pair leopard print items with a pattern of something that a cat might conceivably want to chase - abstract honeycomb representing bumblebees, and a bird-patterned blouse. Even if no one else noticed it but me, it was enough motivation to get out the door on very chilly mornings.

#1-2: Black and yellow "abstract honeycomb" silk blouse; black pencil skirt; black leopard patterned hose; black pumps

#3-4: Black bird-patterned blouse; black midi circle skirt; wide black belt; leopard print pumps

Just since I brought up the animal theme anyway, I'm also including photos of two frozen spiderwebs because they are just so incredibly cool. It looked like someone wove them out of fine thread and sprayed them with glaze!
No spiders in sight, though - I assume they wisely found some very cozy waterspouts to climb up.
