If I were dropping that coin on a coat with the intent that it would be a "timeless classic" etc it would absolutely HAVE to flatter my skin/hair/eyes on it's own. No adding a scarf to mitigate the issue.

I don't want to "vote" based on your photos since I don't think they are the best representation of how the colors look on you. The fit on both looks fine.

That said, if I *had* to pick based on the photos the blue wins hands down.

Beige is more classic, but does navy blue ever really go out of style? Honestly, I don't think it's realistic to expect to wear the same coat for decades anyway, so that being said, I'd go with the blue...the color is way better on you. If you're worried about an aspect of the fit, doesn't Burberry do tailoring for free?
