Like Maneera, I wore a bell-sleeved top from Banana Republic today with black pants and tucked in boots. I threw a red blazer on top of it since the cranberry color of the blazer matched that of the top.
After seeing LaPedestrienne's post of her navy puffer, I decided to try it out too, because my feeling is that the Soia and Kyo puffer is too heavy. The Patagonia puffer is indeed lighter and it's a lovely color--but I think it is too tight in the bust when I wear it with layers. Plus the arms are a bit short, so I've ordered the S. LaPedestrienne wasn't kidding about the small bust but wide hips fit!
And re: the OTK boots, I'm in love but haven't worn them out yet until I get the spray. I am fully confident about wearing them with dresses and skirts (see photos 6 and 7), and I have enough of those to make the boots pretty versatile for me, so that's not an issue.. However, I'm not quite sure of wearing them with pants/jeans. In 4 and 5 I have them styled with the black ponte pants I was wearing--I think the low contrast top is better with them, but am not sure whether this look is suited to someone with longer/skinnier thighs.
