I had an epiphany this morning--I think I'm having trouble with the pants+boots look because the hem of those tops is straight--I bet it would look a lot better to my eye with a curved hem. I did try a tunic and didn't like that that match either, but it was a straight hemmed tunic.
Tanya: I live in your old stomping ground It's definitely cold here but I think I only need one long puffer, especially since I also have a new short one.
Astrid: thanks, I know I will really enjoy wearing them with skirts and dresses, and they are very comfy and made for lots of walking.
DianeG: I love the color combo of the blouse+jacket too, and you noticed the little bell peeking out, which is a detail I also quite liked
Suz: I did try a tunic, but I think I need to try it with something that has a long curved hem. And good wisdom on the puffers--I think this is usually one case where it pays to size up.
Janet: I am considering getting gray jeans for that very reason
Alasse: thank you, I Like the color combo myself!
Zoiechic: thanks!
SaraL: yes, it's easy to wear them with above-the-knee skirts and dresses. Fortunately I have a LOT of those. But I think they'd look good on you with pants, and you'd have fewer climate issues to deal with re: suede.
