Today begins a new remix idea. I borrowed from a creative blogger. check out my blog for her link and details...

The basic jist is to keep one item from day before to remix with all new items...
I begin this with a favorite color combo of mine since my teen years- Pink & Grey...

I wore this shopping for a college graduation dress with my daughter who was home for spring break... sadly she didn't find anything and opted for a dress I had in my closet that we had thrifted and both loved...

Excellent idea for remixing, I was thinking of doing the same a while ago when my life style required more outfits in shorter time. I'll follow your progress with great interest.

I love the outfit, the jacket is beautiful. The light on the first photo on your blog shows it even better.

On one hand it's bad about not finding the new dress for your daughter, but on the other hand she'll wear something you both love and that must be priceless.

Great pulled-together outfit! I'm glad you ended up with a great, free option for you daughter from your own closet. How does it feel to be able to wear the same size as your DD?

I think I already do this kind of remixing, almost without thinking about it. I think of it as *clothing dovetailing*. I do it with our dinners too; it's a great way to use up leftovers.

Congratulations to your daughter on her upcoming college graduation. You look wonderful. A blush leather jacket just went on my level 3 ( if the right one turns up) shopping list.
I also remix this way a lot but especially in cold weather when I can wear something a few times before washing. A pullover sweater that was worn with a pencil skirt for church yesterday is now paired with dark denim jeans and the same brown leather moto jacket both days.

Thanks ladies... We ended up with the dress in my closet because all the dresses in the stores were higher necklines, which don't work well with her larger bust size.... I swear we had very few choices to even try on that were a lower scoop neck... It was very disappointing..
