Bag newbie: I bought this bag - what do you think?

Seeing all these great bags on YLF I realized that I need to take bag issue seriously. I own 2 bags (one summer bright and one tan boho) and both of them are over 3 years old. I was looking for new bags for several months without much success. Unlike shoes it is difficult for me to get excited about a bag to justify high price and it happens that all bags I liked were out of my current budget (Franco Sarto boots, this is all your fault!)
Anyway I have seen this bag on Friday and somehow it spoke to me - and was in my bag budget too. It is pleather but it feels nice to the touch (very important for me) and I love the color. It is also the right size for work. And as an added bonus it is in the exact shade as my turquoise flats! While I do not really match bag with shoes (kind of hard to do with one bag only) it is nice to know that I can!
What do you think? Does it look stylish enough for my emerging fabness (ha-ha ) or not? Also do you think it is purely summer bag or can be worn in the fall? I was looking for a teal bag for this winter but had a darker shade in mind so I am not sure if this will work...
I also posting the picture of my old tan slouch bag so you have an idea where I am in the bag department. I like this tan bag but if you tell me it is not good enough for me I will listen

I like it and I think it would be fine to use into the fall. maybe even into winter if you are wearing darker colors.

I'd merrily carry it in fall- it will look great with most things!

Thanks, Kim. Actually I have tried it with my new purple-red trench and dark purple coat today and I like the colors together. Maybe I should post them...

The new bag is great and not too light a color to wear in the fall and into winter. I love the tan one too. Keepers both!

I think the color is pretty and will work good in fall. I like the brown also I would cont. to use it when needed.

I think it is lovely and would work through all of the seasons, I know it would look fab with browns, camels and indigo neutrals during fall.

Beautiful color and it is a good shade to be worn all fall and even winter (if your outfit doesn't lend up ooking prematurely springy)

It IS a bonus when you shoes match - I can't help it but I like repeating a color somewhere because it looks intentional instead of random.

Based on your feedback I cut the tags off and this bag went to the first outing today!
It is sitting on my desk right now and cheering me up every time I see it - and trust me, I really need some cheering this week at work, it is so crazy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the turquoise bag and those adorable flower flats! Matching is always an option you can keep in your fashion bag of tricks. You'll be surprised how many colors look great with turquoise: purple (my personal fav), chocolate, navy, gray and if you're feeling extra bold: red! The tan bag is a great color and the detailing is fun.
Here's my Tignanello turquoise bag and my Palladium flats - the shoes are a bit darker than the photo shows. The colors don't match exactly, but they look great together:

I'm late but want to say I love the turquoise. Like you, I don't get excited about handbags, but YLF seems to be changing that. After SYC a nice turquoise bag is at the top of my shopping list. BJ, thank you for posting the Wilson Leather bags. They have an outlet store nearby.

Sveta- We are turqoise bag twins! I have one about the same color and love it. I will be wearing mine through fall, it looks great with so many colors. Enjoy! ps. I have the same Born flats only mine are yellow, didn"t realize they had that yummy turqoise color too, extra FAB.

Carole, don't you love how SOFT that Tig bag is! The color is gorgeous. I had been stalking my local T J Maxx for months seeking that elusive turquoise Tig Tote and finally found it there on sale at a CRAZY price. I love Tignanello bags, the quality is superb and the colors are beautiful.

It looks quite big! I was looking at some T. bags in Winners but they all were too small for me. This one would be great. Just curious: you said you got it for crazy price - what was that? In our Winners all T. bags are above 100..

Hey Sveta! It IS the same bag as Carole's. Mine is medium size version of this tote. Size: L 13", H 11", W 6" Strap Drop 8". (It comes in medium and large.) It WAS $80 at TJM, I got it for under $50. Retail price is $129. My patience paid off! And I had been waiting for MONTHS!

It looks like you have lower prices in TJ Maxx than we have for these bags in Canadian Winners: I think they are over a 100 there. I need to stalk it too!
Actually this tan bag of mine was a great deal from Winners. It is a very good quality Italian leather -brand is Luce I think. It was retailed for $300 and was in Winners for $150. I got it on sale for $50 and when I came home I realized why it was on sale: small leather buckled strap on the back (the same as in the front) was missing. I could not get a replacement of course but I used a gold tone chain instead and it became even more interesting because of this.

What a smart way to save your bag, Sveta! Good thinking to use the chain.
