My first YLF inspired handbagg...and its RED!

We have a great Wilson's Leather Outlet at my local mall so I picked up this lovely RED bag (inspired by you Angie)! I absolutely love it and promptly stuck all my stuff in it and walked the rest of the evening in it. I was also wearing the skinnies & purple shirt from my earlier Frye boot post so I was rockin' the red & purple combo and felt FAB!

What's even better is that my wonderful husband was upset that I bought a purse...because he wanted to get me one for Christmas! I made him feel better by telling him I wanted this cream one for Christmas & we'd go get it Monday b/c I have a 30% off coupon!

I may even go back & get the red one in black & purple to start my handbag collection. At this moment I have the red bag & a small Vera Bradley from my sister that isn't really working with my new style. Oh, and the even bestest part...the bags will be under 20 bucks each. Oh yes, I feel like a champion! I know that it would be nice to have a variety of bag shapes & styles but I love a structured, unfussy bag. I also HATE bags with big brand logos on them or tons of dangly things. These really fit those needs, are small enough to not overwell me but big enough to fit what I need. I'm babbling but I'm really happy right now!

i love the bags!!! so so fun.

i want, want, want the cream/bone bag. i'd desperately thinking of ways to get my paws on it and still remain true to syc.

FW, I love those structured bags, especially the cream tote! I agree with you--I can't stand to carry around something with a lot of garish metal, dangly things or a designer's big, ostentatious label plastered on it like a billboard. Enjoy your new bag(s)!

what was the texture of the leather on that bone purse? was it a soft leather that would sag if i over stuffed it or a firmer leather with bottom support?

i may spring for it for my mother who is in the market...
