Love the color of the bag and the style. A cross body light enough that I could manage. So much so that I want to try it - not sure if my order will make it as some things seem to be selling out but we'll see. So I guess I'm bad too.

Chris, there you go. Bad is the new Good. (Reminds me of George in one the Seinfeld episodes).

Woohooo, Tex. Why not. ALL the colours in that bag are your palette, actually.

Scarlet, do I need to come free those hands? Go bat your eyelids at hubs.

Dianna, and YOUR wildcard is trying a smaller bag this year.

Susie, ABSOLUTELY. Even nicer in person.

Thanks Sterling and MidWesternChic.

JAileen, when you have a rockstar husband - guitar straps are always in style.

DonnaF, wise words.

Gryffin, HIGH FIVE.

Great score! With the bag, your new glasses and your other olive items, you could now play for team earthy. Or maybe team earthy + bright (specialist team).

I love how you have fun with this, and here's to having a rockstar husband I am waiting to hear how my NAS items are received and then I think I will check the bag in person as it appears to be locally available.

Laughing about Brooklyn's comment.

GORGEOUS capsule. I just love it. Pearls and olive -- what a combo! And, what Brooklyn said. Specialist Team for the win.

Can't wait to see earthy and bright in action.

Good eye, Brooklyn. Definitely Angie is on Team Earthy/Bright.

The capsule really looks great. Nice to see it "in the flesh".
Would love to hear about your hunt for cognac boots.

Angie, I'm glad you're married to a rock star. Pure awesomeness!

Oh, my! The capsule-in-progress is fairly breathtaking, Angie. The pearls do seem essential.

Yay, so glad you got it, Angie. The capsule is stunning. I have read somewhere that darker greens: olive, pine, emerald etc. are trending for the upcoming season.

The capsule- in-progress photo has completely erased any doubts. I can picture you on your horse wearing this beautiful casual equestrian outfit.

JAileen, I won the lottery marrying my sweetie.

Brooklyn and Suz, Team Earthy & Bright it is. I feel special being part of a unique group.

Firecracker, my pearl necklaces are once again a wardrobe essential. How the heck did I live without them for 5 years??? Interesting. I'm never leaving them off again.

Tanya, YES. Greens are supposed to be trending for Fall & Autumn. I'm feeling on trend.

Scarlet, you're having a great NAS. Get the bag - IF you like gold. It's a bit glitzy and quite dressy - which I love - and I look forward to hearing what you think.

Smittie, it's going to be really hard to match my Prada riding boots, but I'm hopeful and relaxing into it. Keep you posted.

Joy, you are lovely.

Angie, I bet he feels the same way.

SUPER GORGEOUS capsule and pearls are ALWAYS a must! I love olive green and your new bag is fab - enjoy.

I think you should do it!! I love olive, such a cute wardrobe! I have like 3 olive cardigans!

Angie, just to report in, I did go to the store today to check the bag in person. It was the last one. I tried it on while I walked around a little bit and realized I was not leaving without it. I am a gold person, so I am good with the gold. I love the tassel and the extra long zipper pull. I love the metallic woven strap. It is a happy bag. happy happy happy. It also looks quite fetching with my spring-weight green army jacket. Hubby did not officially give me a birthday present yet, so this can be it My four year old thinks the tassel is quite fetching It is a joyful tassel.

Aaah, I always like to see a capsule : so ordely. It's very soothing for a control freak
(Didn't you say somewhere that your mother loved earthy tones? Or am I imagining this?)

Ok admittedly very late to the thread but I approve heartily. Olive is one of my favorite colors for bags - as a matter of fact I will soon be tooling around NYC with an olive bag. Mine is your bag's RATE (very) big sister!

Excellent enabling, all! I went ahead and ordered one, if only to compare it to the Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body I'd purchased at the start of the sale, also in olive. What at first I saw "trendy," I now see could be a stylish "update." I can't wait for it to get here and play around with them both.

JAileen, you are sweet.

Thanks for the cheerleading, Amy and IamUltraChic43.

Isabelle, DEAD right. My Mama rocked earth tones. She wore mustard, forest green, and cinnamon with the best of them.

Jules, hope you love it as much as I do.

YAY, Scarlet. Very fun to be Fall twins with you. How stunning is that bag! I LOVE the casual polished gitz.

Jaime, I'm your glitzy and polished olive companion.

Super intrigued by how all the olive comes to play with your wardrobe. It looks spectacular with cobalt-- I'm glad you got the bag.

Fantastic bag, Angie! Your olive capsule is just gorgeous.

If the olive had silver hardware I'd be all over it. I started obsessing over the black one yesterday.....can't stop thinking about it. I think the guitar strap is so super cool and a really fun detail.....and I love that it can be swapped out to another bag.

Elly, I like to wear olive with black, white, chartreuse, citron navy and tomato red.

Marylin, the black is GORGEOUS if you like silver hardware. SUCH a quality piece. The strap is comfy too. Can't go wrong.

LOVE the new bag and the new capsule for it too.

Thanks, sweet Lisa. You are my olive buddy.

Got the guitar strap cross body in olive and it's a winner. It's a lot more fun and more of a statement that the Love bag I'd ordered, which is what these smaller bags should be, in my opinion. (The Love bag was always kind of a knock-off Chanel Boy bag anyway, though it's very pretty.) I do worry about not having a plain strap, though, for when the fad has passed, as I do *not* have a rock star husband. Can we get one through RM, or should I just not worry about it?

Julesegr, speak to a person in the bag department at the Flagship store in Seattle about an olive strap.

Angie, your comment to JAileen makes me smile, because it reminds me of a friend whose husband is an engineer. She is a very capable individual, but whenever there is any problem that's the teensiest technical, she smiles and says "that's why I married tech support". Sounds good to me--and then you went and sweetened the deal with a guy who's a musician too!

You must use purses differently than I do. I've carefully assembled mini versions of lots of life's essentials, and pack them carefully in a small crossbody bag that I carry all the time. I like to have one small enough that if I'm going to be somewhere for an hour or two, I don't feel the need to put it down. Everything has a very specific spot--there have been times I thought my charge card was lost because my son used it and put it back in the wrong pocket of my wallet, or put the wallet in the pocket on the other side of the purse. The Horror! Most of my things are in a purse organizer, but I still have the chore of switching to a different bag, because 5 mins of reorganization is required. Do you just not carry that much stuff?

Fashiontern, I keep very few items in my bag, which is why I swap them out very frequently. I LOVE bags, and they are very much part of my outfit. Hence, I'm a bag lady. Glad you have your bag needs sorted. Sounds fab. Horses for courses - always.

(As for my prolific husband, Greg - lets just say he is extremely talented. A software engineer with a PHD. An MBA from Insead. A musician, and speed reader who has a command of the English language second to none. I won the lottery with my hubs).
